Hempel’s business activities are now organized into key segments: Marine, led by EVP Alexander EnstrÃ¶m; Energy and Infrastructure, chaired by Executive Vice President Michael Hansen; and Decorative, led by Executive Vice President Joe Devitt.
Katarina LindstrÃ¶m, COO and EVP, now leads technology and operations; Lars Dollerup, CFO and EVP, now supervises Finance & Digital; and Pernille Fritz Vilhelmsen, Chief People & Culture Officer and EVP, heads People & Culture. Strategy & Transformation also joins EGM, headed by VP RenÃ© Overgaard Jensen.

The new general management of the group replaces the old matrix structure with a two-level management, comprising a general management committee and an operational management committee. The new way of working gives Hempel a simpler organizational structure, with clearer roles and responsibilities, allowing for future growth and closer alignment with customers.
