Rappers Logic and Russ collaborate on third single – “Therapy Music” – from Logic’s upcoming album Vinyl Days album, which currently does not have a set release date but is expected in June 2022. Logic’s singles “Decades” and “Tetris” preceded “Therapy Music” as well as a music video for “Tetris”, which audiences reached April 22, 2022.

Logic and Russ split the song in two, each creating a single verse to unload their thoughts which end up complementing if not outright mirroring each other. They each discuss their lives leading to musical fame, Russ doing so with baseball-themed references: “I finally hit my dream pitch/And let the ghost play/In my head like I was Ray Liotta…/As a Yankee owner, I got scratches in this game.” He describes earning his stripes in the process of achieving his goals as a musician.
Logic describes his experience in part by how he’s been perceived throughout his career: “Money don’t represent my rank/Yeah, Logic went from Jack but even/Titanic sank.” He compares himself to Jack from the 1997 movie Titanic to describe how audiences and critics claimed he had already had the best part of his career. He also describes his past struggles with depending on positive perception: “I used to be addicted to the likes of/people I didn’t even like/Anxiety, reading comments didn’t/I read well/Trapped in the Matrix, Black Neo.
Logic, real name Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, announcement his retirement in July 2020 following the birth of his son with Brittney Noell. In an Instagram post, the Grammy nominee explained that he would be retiring with the release of No pressurehis sixth full studio album produced by No ID

Two years later, he returned from his musical hiatus with a package of news for fans, including singles that will lead to an album and tour later this year. Logic will be hitting stages across the United States in all 28 cities Vinyl Verse Summer Tour 2022, which he will co-headline with Wiz Khalifa. The tour is supported by 24kGoldn, DJ Drama, Fedd the God and C Dot Castro. Rubi Rose and Berner will also be special guests on certain dates.
