Mahindra VE: Local sports utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has unveiled its new “INGLO EV platform” and five e-SUVs under the two electric vehicle brands – the iconic XUV brand with the Twin Peak logo and the all-new electric-only brand BE Monday, presenting his vision for the future of electric mobility.
The company plans to introduce 5 e-SUVs under new brands in the next 2-4 years.

Mahindra’s new INGLO EV platform is based on a modular electric skateboard and will serve as the basis for the local manufacturer’s new range of electric vehicles, which should be available by the end of 2024. Curiously, Mahindra has also revealed that the platform will be powered by Volkswagen’s Modular Electric Propulsion Matrix (MEB). Future models of Volkswagen’s ID family are based on the new MEB components, which are currently under development.
Mahindra unveiled two new brands created specifically to house the company’s electric vehicle portfolio – the XUV brand with the copper Twin Peak logo and a new electric vehicle brand called BE – with the aim of bringing the sport into the Electric SUVs.
Mahindra said the XUV brand will offer a variety of products that build on the company’s heritage while looking to the future. “With sophisticated futuristic design, thrilling performance and dynamic innovation, it is for customers who want to live beyond borders while making a difference,” the company said. Mahindra, on the other hand, hopes to target new customers with its new design language with the new BE brand.
