The popular WNY catering business was destroyed by fire

Sad news from Chautauqua County this week as a fire destroyed a popular wedding and dining venue.

According to reports from Twitter, crews were called in to battle the flames Sunday at the Homestead Cafe and Catering on State Route 430 in Bemus Point.

The owner told WGRZ that she will be reaching out to people who have booked events on the site in the coming months.

Business owners have a message after the loss this weekend.
